WEXIT AFTERTHOUGHT ON YES CYMRU/PLAID CYMRU AND THE EUROPEAN UNION DREAM TURNING SOUR.


 
YES CYMRU, IN REALITY ANYTHING MORE THAN AN ALIBI FOR PLAID CYMRU, THINK NOT! IS YES CYMRU NO MORE THAN A PLATFORM TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE 'DEVOLUTION DILLETANTES AS POTENTIAL WELSH ASSEMBLY AM'S? THINK ON THIS, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME >





AT MOMENT YES/PLAID CYMRU ARE BIG ON CATALONIA AND AS MOST CONDEMN SPAIN FOR VICIOUS ATTACKS ON THOSE WHO SOUGHT TO VOTE IN THE INDEPENDENCE REFERENDUM LAST SUNDAY.......







..... BUT NEITHER PLAID CYMRU NOR YES CYMRU BOTH AT HEART SECRET 'REMOANERS'  AND SEEK AN INDEPENDANT WALES IN EUROPE AKA EU HAVE NOT TAKEN ABOARD THE TRUTH THAT THE EU BACKED SPAIN AND NOT CATALONIA. THOUGH PLAID AM ADAM PRICE DID CONDEMN THE EU AND IT'S MEMBER STATES FOR NOT SPEAKING OUT AGAINST SPANISH STATE VIOLENCE IN CATALONIA ON SUNDAY. HOWEVER, IT WAS LEFT TOSTEPHEN WOOLFE  A UK MEP TO CONDEMN SPAIN IN THE EU PARLIAMENT. WE HAVE YET TO SEE JILL EVANS PLAID MEP DO THE SAME? AS WELL BOTH YES CYMRU AND PLAID CYMRU NEED TO GET REALISTIC AND COME TO TERMS WITH AN  HARD FACT THAT EU WILL NOT BACK WELSH INDEPENDENCE BUT WORK AGAINST IT FULL STOP!

As he says, the deafening silence of the EU about this exercise in suppression and intimidation is a real wake up call for nationalists in Wales who have been so myopic in their support and idealization of this cold-eyed monster, which cares only for big Corporations and their own empire-building project.
 
It is absolutely scandalous that the EU have been so passive about this issue. Surely, democracy and people’s right to choose their own future has to be at the very bedrock of any sane and civilized society.
As an anarchist and a nationalist: the present impasse between Westminster and the EU is a difficult one for me to judge- two corrupt, anti-democratic and out-dated establishments which I hate equally with a passion!
I just hope that these two dinasours manage to kill each other off in this process and that we emerge with a real Europe of the people: sovereign nation-states which can have true freedom to organise their national lives as they see fit, and co-operate voluntarily with all other nations.

Remember James Connolly’s dictum: ” Nations are the protectorate of the people”. Nations are back. Thank God for that.

YES/PLAID CYMRU YOU MUST COME CLEAN AND NOT MISLEAD OUR PEOPLE.

DECLARE FOR BREXIT OR PREFERABLY WEXIT!

More special pleading. We had the Remain campaign, much better funded than the Leave campaign, telling us daily that Brexit would be far far worse than they’re even saying now that it will be. The UK government paid to post a big fat booklet of Remain propaganda through my door, for heaven’s sake – the Leave campaign wasn’t nearly well-enough financed to do that.
I have a particular problem with the argument that we should have a second referendum ‘on the deal’ because we didn’t know what it might be at the time of the first referendum. Of course we did. We had the Remain campaign telling us the whole of the time that it would be dreadful, but the country – and by that of course I mean Wales – voted Leave nonetheless.
I honestly can’t think of a single argument for Brexit which isn’t also an argument for Welsh independence. I can’t think of a single argument for remaining in the EU which isn’t also an argument for Wales remaining part of the UK. I can’t understand why Plaid Cymru can’t see this, but I certainly can understand why they are a spent force in Welsh politics if they continue to spout this sort of stuff.
