31 Maw 2022 — For the year ending 31 December 2021, the Annual Population Survey reported that 29.5% of people aged three or older were
able to speak Welsh.
- 9 Medi 2021 — Latest release: 31 March 2022. The census of population is the key source used to measure the number of Welsh speakers in Wales.
- HOWEVER KEEP IN MIND, MANY NATIONALISTS WOULD HAVE NOTED BEING '' WELSH SPEAKERS'' BUT IT NOT BEING TRICTLY TRUE .
